Campus

Northeastern University London is located in the vibrant district of St Katharine Dock. The campus has state-of-the-art facilities, enjoys views of Tower Bridge and is a prime location to enjoy nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Students are able to explore campus and designated parts of the neighborhood freely during class breaks and at the end of the academic day. As the residence hall is an approximately 20 minute walk from campus, program staff will escort the students as a group to and from campus each day. Students must be chaperoned by program staff when leaving the residence hall or designated campus area.

Housing

Students are housed in a residence hall managed by Chapter, an external partner of Northeastern University London. The residence hall is an approximately 20-minute walk from the London campus; program staff will escort the students to campus each day. Each student will have a private studio room with an ensuite private bathroom and kitchenette. Accelerate Pre-College Programs prioritizes the safety and supervision of students. Northeastern University Residence Life Staff live in the building, and Residence Hall Security teams monitor the building entrance 24/7. More specific information about the residence hall and student life policies will be shared with enrolled students.

Dining

Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) are included in the program fee, and will be a mix of catering and group trips to restaurants. Please note there is no dining hall on the London campus. In the program form, enrolled students will have the opportunity to disclose any dietary allergies, restrictions, and preferences. Accelerate staff work closely with caterers and restaurants to ensure, to the best of their ability, that each student’s dining restrictions and preferences are met. Students will also have the option to purchase supplemental items at a local supermarket.

Social Activities

At the start of the program, all students participate in robust orientation and welcome events. Throughout the program, students will also participate in various evening and weekend social activities. On-campus activities may include arts and crafts and movie nights. Chaperoned off-campus activities may include outings such as the London Eye, Borough Market, or a theater show in the West End.
