How to Apply
We are looking for talented, highly motivated students who are passionate about musical theatre and who are ready for a rigorous program. We mimic the Northeastern undergraduate application review process by performing a holistic review—reviewing all areas of the application equally (academic, extracurricular, etc.). Application requirements include:
- Online Application
- Transcript: An unofficial high school transcript or report cards
- Personal statement: a short statement (maximum of 250 words) describing your passion for the subject matter, your motivation for enrolling in the program, and what you hope to gain from the experience
- For Musical Theatre Intensive applicants:
- Within the application, students must submit the name and contact information for at least one teacher, counselor, or performance coach as a reference.
- A headshot and theatre resume
- An audition video consisting of two contrasting 16-32 bar song cuts from the Broadway repertoire.
- No pop or rock songs, please.
- Please state your name, hometown, and the titles of your audition selections at the beginning of your video.
- You must use live or taped accompaniment. Acapella audition will not be considered.
- Make sure your video shot is at least from the waist up.
- Please do not submit a video from a production.
- For Dance Workshop applicants:
- A headshot and dance resume.
- A dance photo (either in first arabesque or tendu a la seconde).
Students should be rising juniors or seniors in high school and at least 16 years old by the start of their program.

Families will be asked to provide the following information:
- Adjusted gross income from most recent federal tax return
- Number of dependents in the household
- There is also an open-ended question where students can provide any additional information that may give context to their financial need
All admitted students will be considered for need-based aid. Students will receive their financial aid award information with their program admission decision.
