Financial Analysis & AI Consulting

Boston Campus — July 26-August 7, 2026

Explore how AI shapes financial and strategic thinking.

This two-week pre-college program introduces high school students to the fundamentals of financial analysis and the ways AI and modern tools can support business decision-making. Students begin by developing core skills in reading and interpreting financial statements, assessing performance, and understanding how financial information guides strategic choices. Once grounded in these foundations, they explore how accessible technologies, including select AI tools and industry-standard software, can help business advisors analyze data, visualize trends, and strengthen consulting insights.

Throughout the program, students learn to translate financial information into meaningful conclusions while considering the opportunities and limitations of AI-assisted analyses. Guided by Accounting faculty from Northeastern’s D’Amore McKim School of Business, participants will hear from guest speakers working in advisory roles, take part in an industry-focused site visit, and collaborate on a team-based applied project using curated datasets inspired by real business scenarios. The experience culminates in a professional-style presentation, allowing students to demonstrate the analytical and communication skills commonly used in introductory consulting and advisory work.
