Boston, London & Oakland Admissions
Applications for Summer 2026 programs will open in December. To stay informed on future programs, complete our inquiry form below.
How to Apply
We are looking for talented, highly motivated students who are passionate about the subject area and who are ready for a rigorous program. We mimic the Northeastern undergraduate application review process by performing a holistic review—reviewing all areas of the application equally (academic, extracurricular, etc.). Application requirements include:
- Online Application
- Transcript: An unofficial high school transcript or report cards
- Personal statement: a short statement (maximum of 250 words) describing your passion for the subject matter, your motivation for enrolling in the program, and what you hope to gain from the experience
- Reference/Recommendation: Within the application, there is an option for students to submit the name and contact information of a teacher or counselor as a reference, this is not required.
*Students should be rising juniors or seniors in high school by the start of any residential program. Students must be at least 17 years old by the start of any London-based residential program.

- In the event of extremely high interest, a Pre-College program may become closed for applications after the priority application deadline. For students interested in a specific Pre-College program, we recommend applying by the priority deadline noted above.
Tuition and Financial Aid
Program Tuition
The tuition for 2026 programs in Boston, London, and Oakland is $7,095. This includes program tuition, course materials, housing, meals, and social activities. A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total tuition due (after financial aid/discounts) will be required to secure a space in the program for admitted students.
Financial Aid
Accelerate Pre-College Programs strives to work with families to make our programs financially accessible. Accelerate’s financial aid awards are typically in the form of scholarships or program discounts. Students can apply to be considered for financial aid within the program application. Families will be asked to provide the following information:
- Adjusted gross income from most recent federal tax return
- Number of dependents in the household
- There is also an open-ended question where students can provide any additional information that may give context to financial need
All admitted students will be considered for need-based aid. Students will receive their financial aid award information with their program admissions decision.
